    artist Robert

I took my first drawing lessons, at age seven, from Mr. Simpson, an artist who lived at the end of our street. (His wife, incidentally, was my Latin teacher in high school.) Since then, I’ve worked my way through several trees’ worth of paper drawing, designing, and trying to get my ideas into visual form. However, I’ve devoted very little time to thinking about Latin, except to chide people who fail to realize that v is pronounced like w.

Here you’ll find some paintings and prints, as well as some inspirational art projects I’ve been working on.
